Center for Creative Play (CFCP) has announced that they will celebrate the importance of play for the entire month of October with special events and activities at the Regent Square playspace. As a nonprofit organization with a mission of ensuring that people understand the importance of play for all children, “31 Days of Play” will help to increase awareness about the importance of play, the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and will above all increase family play opportunities in our community.

“The benefits of play for young children are endless,” remarks Center for Creative Play Co-founding Parent and CEO, Mara Kaplan. “As adults, it is our responsibility to not only encourage children to participate in play, but to promote its importance to all of the adults in their lives. For 31 days during the month of October, we are inviting the community to join us at CFCP where everyone can play, learn, and grow together.”

Every day at CFCP is filled with safe, fully accessible, developmentally appropriate play and during October each day will include featured guests, sensory activities, and themes.
